Digiday: Ad Tech Briefing: TV measurement’s competitive reset gathers pace (with more job cuts)


The TV measurement market has compressed several months’ worth of developments into little more than a week, prompting fresh debate over whether the sector is entering its next competitive chapter.

The sequence began on August 6, when Nielsen agreed to acquire DoubleVerify in a $2.15 billion deal, combining one of television’s dominant measurement providers with one of digital advertising’s largest verification platforms.
