# Sports Business Journal: World Cup Media Notes: Telemundo helps boost Türkiye-U.S. to second-best soccer audience all-time

##### Türkiye-U.S. in the third game of the World Cup group stage finished with a combined 24.4 million viewers across Telemundo and Fox, marking the second-best soccer audience ever on U.S. airwaves...

****CUT OFF****: THE ATHLETIC’s Matt Slater notes “nearly 1,400 illegal World Cup streaming sites have had their advertising revenue cut off as part of the wider fight against digital piracy.” The move to deprive the pirates of ad dollars has been led by the Trustworthy Accountability Group, a non-profit created by the global ad industry to fight crime.
